If you want the Graphics maxed you need either a 580 or even better a 590 the 570 won't hack it.
You do not need that CPU for gaming, I would drop the CPU down to the i5-2300 and put more money into the Video card! I also would recommend using an SSD hard drive for your OS and games, that will give you huge performance boost!

i switched the cpu to:
Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-2300 Sandy Bridge 2.8GHz (3.1GHz Turbo Boost) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I52300 one question: is there a SSD you would recommend for my build? thank you for the help |

As for the cooler you won't need it. That CPU isn't unlocked so you can't do much in terms of overclocking. The stock cooler will be fine.
As for the SSD I would suggest one of the Intel 320 80 GB SATA II SSD's at least. I don't know what your budget is, but you could get a bigger SSD (or even the Intel 520 if you dare!) if you have the cash.

If you build with a Z68 board instead of a P67, you can get a small SSD (40 gigs) and use SSD Caching. The Intel 320 SSD's are made exactly for this use.
I don't really see the need for that WS Revolution board anyway - a $100 cheaper board will do the job just fine. |

Khalil and I are going to disagree here - I don't think you need a 590 and that's a LOT of dough to drop on a video card.
I'd get one of the superclocked 570's with the idea of possibly getting a second one for SLI. |

the budget is not really a problem, but if you feel the 590 is not worth the price tag, then i obviously i'd like to go with a cheaper option. if i decide to run two cards, should i think about a bigger case than the antec 300? or would that be sufficient?
thank you |

I'd go for a bigger case if you want to run 2 cards.
Read the following article: Best Graphics Cards For The Money: May 2011 : May Updates I get the impression that running 2 cards may give you better performance than a single card that costs the same when you get into the high end. If you do run 2 cards, make sure you get a certified power supply. |

Man that IS a lot for a video card.
However, I don't go pricing higher-end cards. I would think that at least with two, should one go bad, you could get by with the other or replace / sell it and get something out of it instead of all your eggs (no pun intended) being in the one card.

@ GLC: thanks, i replaced the hard drive with the one you suggested.
@ Quartet-Man: are you talking about the 590 or 570? i've decided to go with the superclocked 570, with the idea of adding a second one if need be. thanks for the help |
