Ram question

Is there any advantage of using 2x2gb sticks over a single 4gb stick?

It will depend on whether your motherboard supports dual channel or not. With dual channel you get a faster through-put if using 2 x2gb.

Having 2 sticks always makes it easier to troubleshoot a possible RAM problem. Kinda like a spare tire - you hope you never need it but glad it's there just in case.
