Laptop building.
Hey guys, new here. I recently got a bit of cash and coincidentally need a laptop. I was wondering, what is the best rig you can make for under 1500 (that includes external drives, case). I have never built before, but I know it is a lot cheaper, and cheaper is better for me. My main concern if for the best things I can get, with the best battery life I can get. If someone can go as far as to do individual parts, that would be fantastic. Thanks.

laptops are very proprietary. Not very many resources for building your own and is not cost effective. The top brands for quality and reliability are Dell Latitude series and Lenovo Think Pads. Other than those, I have no recommendations.
