Hey Sophie,

Welcome to the boards!

So I hope you do not take this the wrong way, but, both of those builds are questionable at best. If you would like, you could tell us your budget, we could assemble a parts list and then you could have either one of your computer guys to build it for you.

If you wonder why I say they are both questionable is because just take a look at the second build. It has two disc drives while the first build has one. The 1st build has a Solid State Drive and the second one does not. The second one has a Power Supply listed and the first one does not.

To be honest, it sounds like they both should have gotten more information from you so they could better gauge what your needs truly are so that they could meet and exceed them.

If you simply HAVE to go through them and that is all they will ever build for you, let us know and we can tell you. I, personally, would hold off for now as the two builds are pretty different.

Hope this helped,

Hippo

Also let us know what games you are running and what are your detail/framerate expectations for these games. Also which size monitor(s) are you using? This is also a factor in your speed.

Not being in the US is not a problem, but without you telling us what country you are in we have no way to research components and prices.

Don't take this as bashing the game, or how ever you want to call it. But, it really doesn't take much to run sims 3 to be honest. This is my current computer, because my mom went cheap on me for christmas, but this... really horrible creation of a computer runs sims 3 at max graphics no problem. As for the other games... Good luck. I'm sure they'll help you build a computer that can run them games with no problems.

Do they have Newegg like stores in Holland where you can order parts at discount, I can't read?
But here is what I found in quality parts in Holland that I can recomend, not sure if these prices are the best you can get but these are the components you want.

ASUS P8P67-M PRO

Intel Core i5-2300

Asus Radeon EAH6950/2DI2S, 2GB

WD 1TB, Caviar Black

Kingston DDR3,1333-8GK

Antec Earthwatts EA-750EC 80+

Antec cases are great, so are Cooler Master, if they are available to you.. make sure it is an ATX case.
Hope this helps.
