network adapter grief

i recently built a new desktop.. all runs very well except the network adapter is not being nice... (to be precise, it drops out when i connect usb devices to the rear usb ports!, even devices that are on usb hubs connected to rear usb ports. it drops out when the antenna is too close to the wall, and sometimes for no apparent reason.
i am upgrading my new build already...(ssd, better gpu, cpu and more ram) .. and wondering what are some higher end wireless adapters at good prices to look at?

or is there an easy solution for this cheap adapter i have?

thanks

Are you using a USB wireles adapter? If so, would go with one that plugs into the motherboard using one of the PCI slots.
