HX650 vs. TX650M?
So I know absolutely nothing about power supplies besides Corsair makes great ones and modular power supplies are super nice. I've decided I want one, but these two are the same price and don't know which to get. Both are modular.
Both are the same price after rebate. HX650 Newegg.com - CORSAIR Professional Series HX650 (CMPSU-650HX) 650W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply TX650M Newegg.com - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650M 650W ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular High Performance Power Supply

I am seeing a 10 dollar price difference.
They are both semi-modular meaning the wires that you absolutely need like the 24 pin connector do not disconnect. The HX (Professional Series) is one grade above the TX (Enthusiast Series). The HX has a 7 year warranty to the TX's 5 year warranty. Corsair Power Supplies

Same price after rebate, David. I would take the HX.

I agree with the HX, but I never assume getting a rebate is easy or worthwhile or I will receive it at all because I forgot to cross a T.
