Hello, well I'm pretty new to building my own gaming pc; I've read a few guides telling me what to look for etc and this is what I have come up with so far(Any help or suggestions is appreciated). Also on a side note I would like to use the site memoryexpress, not a fan of shipping etc so I would rather just walk to the store to get parts, thanks.

I would go with a Western Digital Caviar Black HDD, other than gaming what else will it be used for? Are you planning in OCing?

Personally if i were you, id go with this video card, and just take out the sound card completely. Stock sound cards are actually very good these days and unless your an audiophile you wont notice a huge difference.
Newegg.com - EVGA SuperClocked 012-P3-1572-AR GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card I just used newegg, cause its easier for me. And swap to a Western Digital Caviar Black hard drive. |

Recommend the following changes - this does put you about 20 bucks over budget.
Drop the sound card. Asus P8Z68-V w/ Dual DDR3 1600, 7.1 Audio, Gigabit Lan, CrossFireX / SLI at Memory Express Computers Western Digital 1TB Caviar Black 7200rpm SATA III w/ 64MB Cache at Memory Express Computers eVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD SuperClocked 1280MB GDDR5 PCI-E w/ Dual DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort at Memory Express Computers The rest of your choices are very appropriate. |

If you are going to be overclocking in the future then get the Corsair Vengeance low profile RAM now.

It doesn't look like Memory Express carries the low profile version.

You can run a good amount of aftermarket coolers even with the normal height Vengeance ram, you just have to change the positioning of the fan if using a heatsinks so it pulls air across the heatsink and out back instead of pushing it throught the heatsink and out the back. If you go with a heatsink that pushes/pulls air vertically you'll be fine or if using some type of watercooling.
