3.6k Video Editing/Gaming PC

Ok so I plan on building my pc for the first time next month. I have no experience with this, but have watched a few videos showing how. And it seems fairly easy.

I have decided to go for a three monitor setup, little for gaming. But most of all for streaming and multi tasking while doing so, along with video editing.

The only doubt I have on this, Is what parts should I go for and if everything would function fine together.

So far this is my setup I have come up with using newegg.com

This is my first time so I would appreciate all the help I get. Im having doubts on the the psu, not so sure.

The total is $3,630.00

As for an hard drives I bought a few from my local pc shop already.

I'm also wondering If I would be able to install the Black magic intensity pro on this build, since I will be having two gtx 580's 3GB each? Bare with me im totally new to this!
Amazon.com: Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro HDMI Editing Card with PCI Express: Computers & Accessories
Blackmagic Design: Intensity

Oh and if everything will fit with out a problem in the case, have good air flow?

Thank you for your time!

I think you are overspending for a machine to do that work - even with 3 monitors. You do not need TWO 580's to drive 3 monitors and do video editing. If you want Nvidia, a single GTX 570 HD will do that. If you want AMD/ATI, any of their "eyefinity" cards will do that. If you are spending this kind of money, why not get a SSD for your OS and apps?

He would need 2 570's to support 3 monitors.

GTX 570 HD?
It can't, it still requires SLI.

I'm still finding conflicting information - but if it can't, it would be MUCH more cost-effective to go with Eyefinity. You only need one card, and you don't need a monster power supply. The other option is a cheap second card for the 3rd monitor, NOT running SLI.

It doesn't require that you use both cards in SLi, it requires the use of two video cards in order to have 3 monitor support.

I have read that as long as you are not gaming on one of the monitors there is a way to support the third monitor by using a USB to DVI cable? Not sure if there is truth to that or not...

Ya I know it just takes two cards, I sometimes just use sli/crossfire as a reference to two cards instead of typing it out.

From what I understand the Fermi architecture will not allow 3 monitors on 1 card no matter what. This is supposed to be solved with the upcoming Kepler release.

There's always the dual 460 Zotac card -
