First build: opinions, please!

Hi! I'm a computer programmer who's getting really tired of using his netbook for everything. I want a desktop computer that I can use for programming (Java, C++), but also for watching movies in HD and maybe ocasionally playing some videogames, but gaming is last in my list. Also, I need to be able to develop OpenGL applications. My budget is around $500-$600, and after a couple of days reading forums and reviews I've come up with this build:

Processor: AMD A8-3850 Llano 2.9GHz Socket FM1 100W Quad-Core (Newegg.com - AMD A8-3850 Llano 2.9GHz 4MB L2 Cache Socket FM1 100W Quad-Core Desktop APU AD3850WNGXBOX)

Motherboard: ECS A75F-A FM1 AMD A75 (Newegg.com - ECS A75F-A FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard)

Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL)

HD: WD Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" (Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive)

PS: Corsair Builder Series CX430 V2 430W ATX12V (Newegg.com - CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 V2 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply)

Reader: LG CD/DVD Burner Black SATA Model GH22NS70 (Newegg.com - LG CD/DVD Burner 22X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 22X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM Black SATA Model GH22NS70 OEM - CD / DVD Burners)

Case: SIGMA ZEN ZEN-WAR ATX Mid Tower (Newegg.com - SIGMA ZEN ZEN-WAR alpine rain blue SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case)

Monitor: Gateway FHX2152Lbd Black 21.5" Full HD (Newegg.com - Gateway FHX2152Lbd Black 21.5" 1920x1080 2ms Full HD LED BackLight LCD Monitor Slim Design 250 cd/m2 1000:1)

The total is around $550, which is acceptable for me. I like pretty much everything in the build, the processor + memory + integrated graphic card (that supports OpenGL 4.1) will do the job for me but also the motherboard will allow for potential upgrades, which I probably will do when I have more money.
So what I'd need now is somebody more experienced than me taking a look at everything and confirming that it looks alright and no compatibility issues. Hope y'all can give me a hand with this.

Thanks!

Never used ECS boards so can't comment on that, also I don't build amd so I cant comment on the processor either. However the memory is a no no stay away from gskill go with crucial corsair kingston or adata. The HDD go with the caviar black instead of the blue. The PSU stay away from the builder series but stick with corsair or antec and you will be fine.

Additionally, ECS is the last board you want to go with.

ASUS F1A75-V PRO FM1
Newegg.com - ASUS F1A75-V PRO FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

If that is out of your price range my second choice is this Biostar
BIOSTAR TA75A+ FM1

So, recap:

BIOSTAR TA75A+ FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

+

AMD A8-3850 Llano 2.9GHz Socket FM1 100W Quad-Core Desktop

+

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model

+

Antec EarthWatts Green EA-430D Green 430W Continuous power ATX12V v2.3 / EPS 12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power

+

Western Digital Caviar Black WD7502AAEX 750GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

+

Gateway FHX2152Lbd Black 21.5" Full HD LED BackLight LCD Monitor

=

Everything working together? No compatibility problems? I think that the only things that could have trouble between each other are the motherboard, processor, PS and RAM, but all of them are your ideas, and after looking at the specs they seem to work. Also the case is ATX and everything seems to be ATX (the PS says ATX12V which I assume works for ATX). Please help me confirm everything's alright before I go and order it!

Thanks again!
