Top end motherboard manufacturer....
Newegg.com - ASUS P8Z68-V PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

You also may want to reconsider your PSU, graphics card, RAM and hard drive for more reliable hardware. This is what and why...

Looking good, I just finished a similar build. As a test, I mirrored 5800 FLAC files to 320kb VBR mp3...took a hair over 2 hours . Much faster than the Q6600.

So david, you think every things compatible? Btw..how do you tell if parts are compatible with each other? I'm like itching to hit BUY NOW lol. I also want to make sure i wont have to rebuild a new computer in the future, in the sense that if i wana upgrade my processor or mobo, i wont be replacing 7 other parts lol.

I'm not the expert here, but if jdeb, glc or Khalil weigh in, along with a number of others, you can be assured you have a good build.

All a computer is is a box for running software and storing information. There are future resistant computers but making a future proof computer is impossible. Not being able to run future software and run it at the speed you need it to run it is the primary thing that makes a computer obsolete to you. There is no telling what future software you will need to run, its hardware requirements or when you will need to run this software. In my opinion, for most people, if you don't need a new computer in four years you have done pretty well for yourself. It really depends on which software you need to run in the future.

Thanks David, I know I cant future proof to the fullest extent lol. If we could do that, wed only need to upgrade once every 4-5 years lol. Honestly, I think my builds pretty solid...I guess il hit the buy now button, and venture into trying to build it myself..this will be fun xD.
