Which motherboard?

Hey guys here are my specs:
Intel Core i7 2600k w/ Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
Cooler Master HAF 922
Crucial RealSSD 128gb SSD
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB HDD
G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 8gb 1866
Corsair 850W TX850
HT OMEGA CLARO Plus+
EVGA Geforce GTX 580

So I was wondering, which motherboard should I get from your personal experiences or review that is good for overclocking and is a good sturdy board. So here they are:

Motherboard 1:
Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3P LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Motherboard 2:
Newegg.com - ASUS P8Z68-V PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Thanks

I prefer the Asus.

A couple notes - we don't recommend G.skill ram due to quality and compatibility issues. The best ram for a Z68 is 1.5 volt XMP ram, I'd recommend Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600 low profile. I also recommend a Western Digital Black drive (SATA 6.0, 64mb cache) instead of a Samsung.

Thanks for the feedback. I've switched to the WD Hard Drive and the Corsair Vengeance RAM as well as I also went for the ASUS from what you said and also because I like the UEFI BIOS on it.

If you are installing a large aftermarket cooler, make sure the Vengeance is low profile - the standard version with the finned heatsinks can have clearance issues.

Newegg.com - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9
If not could you give me a suggestion?

How much of a difference would "Motherboard 2" (Newegg.com - ASUS P8Z68-V PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS) make v.s. "The Motherboard I Plan to Get" (Newegg.com - ASUS P8Z68-V LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard) in terms of gaming and video rendering performance?

Nothing really except for the different colours and the UEFI BIOS and maybe a couple more ports.

There is no performance difference between the 2 Asus boards. The Pro has 2 more SATA 6.0 ports and a couple Firewire ports.

Im wondering which of these options will give me the best performance?

in Intel Smart Reponse Technology

-2 1TB WD Caviar Black 6gb SATA 64mb Cache in RAID 0

Threads merged, please keep everything about one build in one thread.

The separate SSD and drive will give you the best performance, and the SRT setup should be next best. We do *NOT* recommend standard hard drives in RAID 0 due to reliability concerns.
