New Gaming Build

I'm getting ready to build a new gaming computer. I'm planning on playing BF3 with some gaming buddies of mine. I have no plans to overclock. I've been lurking the forums here and done some other research and this is what I've come up with. I generally shoot for $1000 when I do a build but I'm doing this one from scratch, so I'm trying to keep it under $1500. Right now I'm sitting at just under $1200 including the case fans and speakers I'm planning to buy.

Case:
Newegg.com - Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

CPU:
Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 BX80623I52500K

Motherboard:
Newegg.com - ASUS P8Z68-V LE LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

RAM:
Newegg.com - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B

Video Card:
Newegg.com - EVGA 012-P3-1570-AR GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

PSU:
Newegg.com - Antec EarthWatts EA-650 GREEN 650W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

OS:
Newegg.com - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit - Operating Systems

DVD:
Newegg.com - Sony Optiarc 24X DVD Burner, Bulk Package 24X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 12X DVD+R DL 24X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM Black SATA Model AD-7280S-0B - CD / DVD Burners

HDD:
Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Black WD7502AAEX 750GB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

SDD:
I was looking to get a Crucial M4 64 GB to cache for my HDD but Newegg is out of stock. Are there any other SSDs as good for this task?

Monitor:
Currently using a Samsung SyncMaster 225BW (22.5"). This is one area that I didn't research. Should I be looking to upgrade to get the most out of the newer games? Max resolution is 1680 x 1050, which sounds like a yes to me. Suggestions?

You may find you need an aftermarket CPU cooler - and if you get one, the heatsinks on that ram will get in the way. Suggest you get this ram instead:

Newegg.com - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model CML8GX3M2A1600C9

This SSD is showing in stock:

Newegg.com - Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2CCA 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) with Transfer Kit

If you want a full HD 1080p monitor:

Newegg.com - Asus VH238H Black 23" Full HD HDMI LED Backlight LCD Monitor w/Speakers 250 cd/m2 ASCR 50,000,000:1

I think the K only gives you better onchip graphics.

It's also unlocked and lacks the Trusted Execution Technology.
