i5 2500k build
Hey guys i am thinking about doing an Intel build with an i5 2500k 650watt psu(corsair tx) and 8gbs of corsair Vengance Ram. What would you guys recommend for a video card not looking to spend a ton but would like to get a decent card for this build as I will be doing some video editing and recording game play.
What ssd would you recommend for a lower cost model(with hdd being so pricey thinking ill get a smaller ssd for now)

What is your budget for the computer, not including an operating system or any peripherals? How many gigs of storage space do you actually need? Video editing eats it up.
Are you planning on reusing anything out of your current build? Looks like the PSU would be an excellent choice, and with prices, I'd recommend you reuse the hard drive. What does it have for a video card? |

Can you be a bit more specific? Please list which components you need for your $500.

I need even more clarification, please - do you have ANY conventional hard drive that you can reuse? What about an optical drive?
Please help me out here so I can properly help you. |

This will work fairly well:
Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE FleX 100314FLEX Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-Z68M-D2H LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX Intel Motherboard Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 BX80623I52500K Newegg.com - Intel 320 Series SSDSA2CT040G310 2.5" 40GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - Internal SSD Subtotal: $584.96 The SSD is a bit small, but Intel drives are fairly reliable, and you'll want to use the SSD for hard drive caching which gives you pretty good performance and is the most reliable way to use an SSD.
