Radeon Vid card w/ 2500K?

Are there any negatives with using a radeon card with an intel processor? Im planning on building a gaming pc and initially only looked at nVidia, but it looks as if the 6950 might be best bang-for-buck vid card on the market. I'm also about 100% sure im buying the 2500k. Any issues from using conflicting companies like that?

You won't have any issues with compatibility as long as it's a pci express card. Got two HD6870s in crossfire running on my intel based motherboard without issues. Nvidia cards won't have any problems either but if you want to run multiple in SLI, make sure the motherboard you want to buy supports it.
