Budget PC Components
Thinking about building a budget PC. For basic home use would the Biostar HM61 Board and Intel i3 2100 Sandy Bridge be a good starting point? How about a basic midtower case in the $40 range? A CD/DVD Burner, Maybe 4 GB Ram? Any suggestions appreciated.

Please post your budget for the computer - the case and its components, not including peripherals or operating system.

I would say that is a good start. List your specs like glc said and we can look it over to dial it in if necessary.
