Hello, I'd like to know the answer to his question as well.
Also, if there are any better deals for Black Friday for gaming rigs?! I'm wondering if someone could help us out with this.

It seems to be a pretty good price for the specs. The problem I have with it though, there is no manufacturer listed for the motherboard, ram, hdd, or vid card.
I see where it says Gigabyte ethernet. so its probably a Gigabyte motherboard. I like them and they are on the reccomended list. That leaves ram, hdd, and a vid card questionable. A 6850 isn't a bad card, but without knowing who made it-it could be a dud. Same goes or the ram, nice quantity -8gig Hdd-same thing nice Qty- 1tb Here's the thing: Steve Buscemi "Do you realize your butt's strapped to four million pounds of fuel, one nuclear weapon and a thing that has 270,000 moving parts built by the lowest bidder!?" ![]() taken from Armageddon As far as the specs go, I think it's a good buy. But I'd be wary of the quality of the supporting components. I personally would rather put the money on a new build. I also noted it has a thermal take case, probably means it has a Thermaltake PSU, these are on the reccomended list also. Sure would be nice to know who made those other components.

I don't trust Cyberpower PC's. Buy the individual parts and build your own. If you don't want to build your own, go to your local mom and pop computer shop and get them to build you one or custom order a Dell.

That makes sense. Thank you.. I'm new to building computers so being so unfamiliar with it, I was hoping for a shortcut.
![]() I'm reading up on building though and it seems pretty interesting. However, I doubt I'd be able to figure everything by Friday. And so, I'm wondering if anyone is planning on building a gaming rig based on the Black Friday deals. I could copy that given it would be approved by the frequent posters here. Who seem to be very knowledgeable about creating gaming rigs. Or even a decent pre-made deal would be nice. ![]() My budget is around $750'ish. Thanks again for the reply, rwest. |

i ended up ordering it. I priced some of the part. the cpu, case & and even the cheapest 6850. those 3 alone are over $500. So i figure its a good deal. i got the 2yr warranty also. so im good if anything go's bad
It's a huge upgrade from what im on now. 2.2ghz dual core intel, 2 gigs of ram and a radeon hd 2400. So im pretty happy with it |

Yeh, with the price of hdds right now snd including an OS I doubt you could build it for that amount. Smart move on your part to get the extended warranty.

Hey Kill. Congrats on that awesome specs PC.
![]() About the 2 year warranty, I was wondering something. The return policy read something like this :- Return Policy: Computer Replacement Only Return Policy. Does that mean that if something goes wrong, you have to ship the entire PC back to them? And then wait while they fix it?! This is the return policy listed for pretty much all the Cyberpower PC's that I was browsing thru. And its got me thinking.. my friend who had a laptop with warranty not working right, went to the store and it took them 2 months to fix a faulty HDD. Which makes me ask, is there any time limit before they would fix your CPU and return it? Otherwise, you're stuck even with a warranty.
