Avoid G.skill and get trouble-free memory such as Crucial or Corsair.

Excellent choice. Any reason why you picked the GTX 550?

It's comparable to the 560 Ti for almost half the price

I'd recommend the 1600 speed version of the Vengeance. Anything faster will be wasted because that processor can't be easily overclocked.

Not even close.

Take one of the -AR cards, those have a lifetime warranty if you register them.

Ok it goes like this: It's all in the 3D technology and whether you want a factory overclocked card or not. Also make note of the additional cuda, direct compute, and open CL technologies

1. For $249 the first card: 1561-AR is factory overclocked and is 3d vision surround ready
you should note the cuda technology only

2. For $239 the second card: 1563-AR is not factory overclocked and supports 3d Vision, no mention of sound
note: NVIDIA CUDA technology with CUDA C/C++, DirectCompute 5.0 and OpenCL support

3. For $249 the last card: 1567-KR is factory overclocked and is 3d Vision ready, no mention of sound
note: NVIDIA CUDA technology with CUDA C/C++, DirectCompute 5.0 and OpenCL support

I just saw GLC's post but those are the specific differences I found.

Newegg.com is no longer selling this board, so can someone recommend a comparable board. $200 is probably my ceiling on a board

Can you tell me glc if there is any real difference in the two boards? Should I just look for the board on a different site or is there a better/newer board I should look at instead of this sold out board.
