New Build - Opinions please
Hi,
I am looking into building a new pc. I built a pc once before but that was years ago so Im hoping someone can tell me what they think of all this. CPU: AMD Phenom 2 X6 1100T Black Edition, 3.30 GHz, 9MB Cache, Socket AM3, 125W Motherboard: Gigabyte SKT-AM3+ 990FXA-UD5 Power Supply: Coolmaster Silent Pro 700W Memory: Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 SDRAM Cooling: CWCH60 Water Cooling Hard drive: Western Digital Green 500GB Graphics: Asus 1GB GeForce GTX 560TI DirectCUII PCI-E Graphics Card Case: Coolmaster HAF X DVD Drive: Sony AD-5260S-0B 24x Internal DVDRW SATA Network Card: TP-Link TL-WN951N Advanced Wireless N PCI Adapter While I do want to be able to play some decent games I am not specifically looking to built a gaming rig. More a high power, general purpose machine as I use my computer for everything, work, games, etc. I am hoping to build something that will be reliable for years and not need much updating. I was aiming for £600-$800 and so far the total price is just over £800 so its at the high end of what I was hoping to spend but provided it works well Im ok with that. I hope someone can tell me if all this looks good. I would be grateful for any advice. Thanks |

Pounds or dollars? Where are you, and what vendor are you using?
