What is your budget?
What are you using the PC for?

I would change the ram to the Corsair Vengeance 1.5V DDR3 1600 and get the low profile if you plan on adding a aftermarket CPU cooler.

I would change that power supply but I need to know if you are planning on buying a discrete video card so I can give you a solid recommendation.

thanks

i don't plan on doing any high end gaming yet. maybe when something really interesting comes out. i do plan on playing diablo 3 but i can't imagine it requiring so much power. other than that, regular home office type of computer.

Well this is overkill for a system without a video card but it does give you head room for a mid-range video card for the future. You are correct. The Intel HD Graphics are fine for the game.

Antec BP550 Plus 550W Continuous Power ATX12V V2.2 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

If you want to match a power supply with your current configuration

Antec EarthWatts Green EA-430D Green 430W Continuous power ATX12V

is the OCZ PSU too much or unreliable?

it's $49.99 AR and the Antec you recommended is $69.99. i don't know why it's priced so differently.

i was looking at this for a video card. i don't know if it's compatible and whatnot.

thanks again!

OCZ power supplies are "okay" these days, but Antec or Corsair would be preferable. If you want a high quality high power modular:

Newegg.com - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650M 650W ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular High Performance Power Supply

Your video card link is invalid.
