first build. opinions, advice or recommendations please

What is your budget?
What are you using the PC for? I would change the ram to the Corsair Vengeance 1.5V DDR3 1600 and get the low profile if you plan on adding a aftermarket CPU cooler. I would change that power supply but I need to know if you are planning on buying a discrete video card so I can give you a solid recommendation. |

thanks
i don't plan on doing any high end gaming yet. maybe when something really interesting comes out. i do plan on playing diablo 3 but i can't imagine it requiring so much power. other than that, regular home office type of computer. |

Well this is overkill for a system without a video card but it does give you head room for a mid-range video card for the future. You are correct. The Intel HD Graphics are fine for the game.

OCZ power supplies are "okay" these days, but Antec or Corsair would be preferable. If you want a high quality high power modular:
