First Time Building a Gaming Rig and...

Was hoping for advice on the best possible gaming rig for 1100 bucks or under, if anyone would be so kind. Trying to wrap my head around all these parts, and it's just not happening as quickly as I want it. lol

Not including the OS or any peripherals in this budget. If a good build would mean me saving up a few hundred bucks, I'd consider it, but I'm hoping to get one soon before my laptop starts choking from all the strain.

Case: pick your own because they are personal preference.
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371051 75$
Motherboard: Newegg.com - ASUS P8Z68-M Pro LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS 125$
CPU: Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge 3.1GHz (3.4GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000 BX80623I52400 124$
Unless you want to overclock then get the 2500k
Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233186 46$
HDD: Newegg.com - HITACHI Deskstar 7K1000.D HDS721075DLE630 (0F13179) 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive 105$
That is 475$ without case, leave you 100$ to spend on case and that makes the total 575$ so we have up to 525$ to spend on graphics.
Graphics: Newegg.com - EVGA 015-P3-1580-AR GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card 500$
Total price 1075$

EDIT: forgot a disk drive, just pick one on special that is a dvd burner, there all pretty much the same.

The SSD will be used with Intel SRT to "cache" the hard drive.

EDIT:

In my opinion, a GTX 580 is not worth $200 more than the GTX 570 or Radeon 6970. When you get over $300, improvements are not that great for more money. Stick with "bang for the buck" and upgrade the card later if necessary.
