heatsink for 15 2500k

I am looking at a few heatsinks for a i5 2500k CPU, the I5 processor has a LGA1155 socket, and some of the heatsinks I am considering are only compatiable with an 1156 socket. Will a 1156 socket cpu fan work with the i5 2500k? Any recomendations on heatsinks?

Any 1156 socket heat sink will fit a socket 1155 board and vice versa.
