Gaming Build $1100 Advice

hey all,
I built a computer for myself 3 months ago and got some great advice on here. My friend is trying to build his own, and asked for my help.
His budget is $1100 and wants a SSD, made for gaming.
This is what I've come up with so far on Newegg and just wanted any comments anyone could give me on my build.

MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II 2GD5/OC Video Card $269.99

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W High Performance Power Supply $89.99

Corsair Force Series GT CSSD-F120GBGT-BK 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) $179.99

Western Digital Caviar Black 1.5TB 3.5" SATA 6.0Gb/s Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive $179.99

GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 ATX Intel Motherboard $122.99

LITE-ON DVD Burner - Bulk Black SATA Model iHAS124-04 $19.99

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory $44.99

COOLER MASTER Elite 430 RC-430-KWN1 Black Steel / Plastic Computer Case $49.99

Intel Core i5-2500 3.3GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor $209.99

Grand Total: $1,167.91 - $70 mail in rebates = $1,097

Thanks for the help!

Avoid G.skill; get something less troublesome like Crucial or Kingston.

Agreed on the gskill. Get this instead. Dependable, stable. 1.5V
Newegg.com - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CML8GX3M2A1600C9B

HE will probably want the unlocked version of the CPU for overclocking and/or autotuning
Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 BX80623I52500K

Change your SSD for reliability
Newegg.com - ADATA S510 Series AS510S3-120GM-O 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - Internal SSD

I prefer this board but the one you chose is fine
Newegg.com - ASUS P8Z68-V LE LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
