I would change the hard drive to this. I have not had good luck with Seagates. The Hitachi's have been my go to since the flooding and they have been solid. IF you can afford it, the WD blacks are the best choice...
Newegg.com - HITACHI Deskstar 7K1000.D HDS721010DLE630 (0F13180) 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Change your power supply for reliability and stability
Newegg.com - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650M 650W ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular High Performance Power Supply

Change the memory to take advantage of XMP, stability, and performance
Newegg.com - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CML8GX3M2A1600C9B

Change the motherboard for stability, reliability, and performance
Newegg.com - ASUS P8Z68-V LX LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

You could save a few bucks buy going with the i5 K series CPU and not give up a noticeable performance difference.

CPU cooler is only needed if you are planning on advanced overclocking.
