Having some trouble

This is my first build, I'm sure I have everything plugged in the right place. Hopefully someone can help. I just booted it up for the first time and hear a fast beeping. The CPU fan isn't working so I shut it off. The fan in the back is working. Any ideas?

follow quartet's lead. Make sure the CPU power connector is firmly in place on the motherboard.

Tried it, it wouldn't boot up. The CPU fan moved for a slight second along with the psu fan then it stopped. I hooked up the speaker and heard no beep this time. But still no display

EDIT: Just tried it again and it worked, the fans stayed on and I saw some specs on the display.

Did you do something different when you tried it again? If not, it might be some intermittent problem. If you can get it to keep booting up outside the case, then it is probably getting grounded inside the case or is another component. You could then start adding things one by one until the problem happens again. That way you could narrow down what the issue is.
