Start at square 1. You can't put an Intel processor in an AMD motherboard, and you are also looking at obsolete parts.
Location and budget, please. |

Hi RazerShark,
Welcome to PCMech. We're not fans of TigerDirect so may I suggest you take your shopping list here : Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, LED LCD TV, Digital Cameras and more! First, you cannot use an Intel processor in an AMD board. Since this is a games machine let's start with the video card, you're going to have to up that by about $100. Unless the only game you play is WoW it's not powerful enough. You might want to consider this card : Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100314-3L Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card The power supply is fine and will leave you upgrade room but double check the price on Newegg against the one on TigerDirect.
