New Build/upgrade
Hi guys, i am planning to upgrade my comptuer in the up comming week when ivy bridge hits the town. So i will be using more than 50% of the old component so i will only need a Motherboard, Memory, Video card and a Cpu of course.

I'd recommend you use the low profile Vengeance, in case you decide to overclock and get an aftermarket heatsink. The fins on the standard Vengeance usually interfere with big heatsinks.
Not a fan of MSI motherboards and video cards. You can do worse, but you can also do better. I just want to clarify somethings is worth buying the pro version ASUS P8Z77-V PRO Motherboard [P8Z77-V-PRO] - $255.00 : PC Case Gear? Also what is the difference between these two.

The differences are minor - the Pro has 2 extra USB 3.0 ports and a legacy COM port. No difference in quality or performance.

Hmmmm, I see so going with the normal verison can save me money since theres nothing really great in difference.
![]() Lol, Still waiting on the ivy bridge, I thought that ivy bridge was suppose to hit the store today as on 23 April. Was waiting so anxious that i couldnt get anything done right at school. Hope it come out tomorrow. |

Wow, I am so happy with my new comp every thing works like a beauty. Just that there no gpu due to no stock. I have to said a big thank you to you glc!
