Gaming computer for about $1000

I'm willing to go above $1000 if I have to, but I'm maxing out at around $1500, and that's only if there's something WAY above its value in that range.

Anyway, I want a computer that is as good as possible for gaming, although the games I currently play aren't graphics intensive at all (League of Legends currently is it right now). I want it to be able to play Diablo3 and DoTA2 at high fps though, and I'd like it to have the ability to stream in HD quality, although that is optional, as my internet is not currently good enough to support that at 0.7 Mb/s upload speed.

At the moment, thanks to a friend of mine, he's suggested a computer and made one for me, and I'd like to know which sounds like the best choice.

Gamer Scorpius 9000 (Suggested)

Thanks for any help, if you could suggest better parts that would be awesome as well.

That's the biggest problem with these kind of builds, by the time you add in the better parts you're busting your budget to pieces.

You should ask your friend if he would build one for you (and how much it will cost you) from a list of suggested parts from our system builders. Or you could do it yourself. Either way I think you will get a much more capable and reliable machine for your money than using one of these type of system builds. The only advantage(usually) is the added in software and monitor.

All the parts look solid in the links you provided, but I don't know much about computers. Any other opinions?

Replace those parts with my suggestions and you will be solid. You are reasonably close to what I suggested. My suggestions are either a bit more up to date and/or more reliable. Keep the EVO cooler, it's better than the Plus I suggested.
