Thumbs up Need help building my first gaming computer!

Hey guys, so I'm looking to build a computer that can run BF3 and Far Cry 3 at max settings as a benchmark. I have never done this before so I really don't know what I'm doing but I do think it'll be a fun learning experience to build it myself and save some money rather than buying one pre-built. So here is what I have so far, I just want to make sure I didn't miss any parts that I need or if it comes with all the wiring I'll need and all that. Also, is the Raedon HD 7850 a good card? Would it be worth it to upgrade to the 7870, and would it fit in the case that I chose? Also, is 650W enough to power everything? Not sure if it just goes by how much the video card needs to power or what. Sorry for all the questions I just wanna make sure I do this right the first time so that I won't have to worry about upgrading any parts in the near future. Also, is the motherboard I chose any good? Not sure how much of a difference this makes and the one I picked only has 2 reviews. Just chose it because of the AM3 socket which I believe I need.

Thanks for looking and I look forward to hearing your responses!

Edit: I'm also trying to stay under $1000 and my total is at $950 at the moment. So let me know if you think I would better off swapping anything out for something different.

Drop the Seagate hard drive and go with a WD Black, better warranty, reliable
Ignore the reviews, less than knowledgeable on negatives
Newegg.com - Western Digital WD Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Drop the MSI board for reliability and stability
Newegg.com - ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

The HD7850 is a great card but go with this one as it has a little more memory
Newegg.com - HIS IceQ X H785QN2G2M Radeon HD 7850 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Here is the low profile version of that ram to avoid clearance issues in the event you go with an aftermarket CPU cooler in the future
Newegg.com - CORSAIR Vengeance LP 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CML16GX3M2A1600C10B

or get this kit, they work well with FX CPU's
Newegg.com - ADATA XPG Gaming Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model AX3U1600GW8G9-2G

Spend an extra 20.00 and go with a better CPU and technology.
Newegg.com - AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Six-Core Desktop Processor FD6100WMGUSBX

Thanks for the reply! I actually did swap out the motherboard for Newegg.com - ASRock 970 EXTREME4 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS and the CPU for Newegg.com - AMD FX-6200 Zambezi 3.8GHz (4.1GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor FD6200FRGUBOX. Is that motherboard ok? I would just prefer to save money where ever possible haha. And I ended up upgrading the graphics card to Newegg.com - MSI N660Ti PE 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card. Swapped the HDD and RAM for the ones you listed. Thanks again!

I would go with the board that jdeb suggested. I wouldn't go near that ASRock board.

Consider a 680 if you are looking for max settings and playable frame rates for graphics intensive games on the monitor you selected.
