Need Laptop: Light, good Batt, @$400
Wow, there are so many notebooks out there in the market I thought I would just ask in here if anyone has a favorite.
Need a small laptop: - 11-13' screen, resolution doesn't matter terribly - Around $400 price point give or take - Win 7 or 8 doesn't matter - Uses primarily email, internet & some online video - At least 500gb HD , prefer Intel chip but doesn't matter I guess if price is right - Need good battery life - 6-8 hours away from power source - Light - less than 4 lbs Anyone seen any good deals out there lately for these types of specs? Thanks in advance |

Thanks glc,
Pretty much what I was looking for. Unfortunately I was told it wasn't "cute" enough for the intended recipient (whose gender I won't reveal here as to not sound sexist) :) Anything else you've seen maybe in colors with an even smaller screen like 11-12 inch? |
The Acer Aspire E1-571 ($409.99 USD at Newegg) is Soluto's most highest-rated native Windows laptop.

I've actually seen that one before. However its too big and too heavy for the user's desire. Something like a chromebook but with a real OS is what I'm in the market for.
I found this on Amazon, looks more like what is wanted... ASUS VivoBook X202E-DH31T-PK 11.6-Inch Touchscreen Laptop (Pink) |
That's black, not pink. Here's the pink one:

Thanks for the info guys, I ended up pulling the trigger on the ASUS VIVO - pretty sure the pink will be a hit.
