Well if ya want to spend the money then yes that will be a cool system... although I rarely find any faults with either of my lower grade systems if ya wanna call them that, but I guess maybe you might be using more intense programs? Well whatever it is, nice system.

Oh wow - seems like someone's been saving up for big expectations . This is going to be a monster - Radeon X800XT? AMD 64 FX? Raptors on RAID? This is going to be the center of jelousy around PC Mech .

I know you already made up your mind and stuff - just a minor note. Make sure you buy ECC Registered RAM - correctional ones. Your AMD 64 FX will need it. Give us a post after you get it done and tell us how it's workin

Is that a socket 939 FX-53? If not I suggest you get one, more upgrade opportunities. Also I think socket 939 doesn't need registered RAM. The socket 939 FX-53 is here:

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...103-459&depa=1

Bad thing is you would have to wait, I don't see any socket 939 motherboards

Yea your correct ric. the 939 doesn't require ECC memory. and also can be run in dual channel

"2 gigs of corsair 2-3-2 ddr ram"
Would that be the XL version?
I heard about samsung releasing memory chips on the corsairs XMS- XL modules. These carry 2-2-2 Timings.

About the pics: You may want to set up an account at someplace like FreeWebs, or some other free hosting service that you can use to post pics, and then just link to them.

Ok, the 939 choice is a good one. Do you know where to find a motherboard? I don't see any at newegg yet.
