Boom Onboard Audio Problem

Im having problems with my Onboard Audio Device on my ASUS P4C800 Deluxe motherboard. MY speakers are the Creative Inspire 2900 2.1 Speaker setup. Now when i plug my speakers into the proper hole(green one) i get no sound, but when i plug it into my pink hole i get subwoofer sound. Its meant for the center/subwoofer to be plugged into it, but i only have on plug. How do i manage to get my speakers to work along with my sub?

well with a 2.1 setup only one plug in is required, which ure rite, the green hole, check in control panel/sounds and audio devices then click on advanced and make sure ure speaker setup is on desktop stereo speakers, also make sure all ure drivers are working properlyand of course all cords are securly plugged in

Check in the BIOS to make sure onboard audio is enabled, are the drivers installed properly. As you Hags said it should connect to the green jack connector.

Even more check your manual.
Chapter 5 has the set-up wizard for your sound system.
I know there's one that only works for 4.1 and 6.1 setups and if that's enabled you would have trouble.
