CRASH help! blue screen of death probz

I have a pc i built... its a 2.8c p4 with 1024mb ram an ASUS p4c800 deluxe mobo, 60gb WD hdd, and a radeon 9600 PRO.... oh and it runs on windows xp pro.... today i reformatted it and i did sucsessfully and then about 30 min l8er after i installed windows the computer just restarted randomly, then i didnt pay much attention to it and contiued using my comp and about 30 min l8er it restarted itself again. But, this time when it rebooted there was a blue screen of death before it loaded windows saying "page fault error" or something. i rebooted and before it loaded windows there was a black screen and it made me choose to boot windows in safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt, start windows with last known good configuration, or start windows normally... i tried start windows with last known good configuration and i got a blue screen of death... i get blue screens of deaths... if i choose start windows with last known good configuration or start windows normally i get a blue screen of death... ARGH!!! help pleaz

Probably a bad stick of ram. Try the system with one stick at a time.

If you just reformatted, try that again, and re-install. If it happens again, it's a hardware issue. Could be Ram, could PS. I would reinstall first though.

Download Memtest86 from www.memtest86.com
Run that with one stick at a time to see if your ram is knackered.
