Rackmount cases
Hi all,
I'm building a server that will consist of the following parts: Dual PIII 650mhz, 1x 18.2 gig SCSI hdd, 2 x 50gig 7200rpm hdd (half height i.e 1.6 inches) cdrom, floppy. What size rackmount case would be good for this? Since I have half height drives I was thinking that I would probably need a 4U. Would a 2U work? Also what is a good rackmount case for under $150? Right now I've been looking at the Antec 4U case. Thanks in advance for the help. |

Don't forget a redundant psu. It would be nice if the case comes with fans. I have built a few rackmount pcs. Get a 4 or 6u case if you have the room as it is alot easyer to work inside and most support redundant psus. Enermax makes nice rackmount cases as well.
