Thinking about watercooling
I'm considering getting into water-cooling. Hey, if Apple can do it, so can I.
![]() The problem is all my google searches have landed endless pages of water-cooling REVIEWS... Even a search for "PC water cooling store" landed me about nothing but reviews... So I'm thinking about getting a Swiftech MCW5000-A for my CPU, a resivor thats hopefully square (either single 5.25 or dual 3.5), and a small radiator that uses an 80mm fan(so I can use it with my Vantec Tornado thats currently on my CPU). For the pump, I want a 12v Ehiem (don't remember the exact model number). Anyone know where I can get all this from in one stop? Frozen CPU just about has everything, 'cept their prices seem'd a bit higher than usual, and they don't have the CPU block I want. ![]() TIA, L J

Directron.com has water cooling supplies. There is another I can't remember now. I will link to it when I can get to my favorites list at home.

http://www.atacom.com/program/print_...AKI_SWFT_H2_85 Do a search for 'swiftech on this website: http://www.pctoys.com/ Bunch of water cooling kits. Swiftech makes some very good ones - they have two models (not counting the different CPU versions) - one that uses a radiator with 2 120mm fans and has to be installed externally, and one that radiotar that uses an 80mm fan. The first performs better, but requires case modding, and is also louder. The second is more for a quiet pc. |
