I guess you mean the molex connectors... Don't cut anything. Just wiggle them back and forth and they'll get there, just have some patience.

They can be quite awkward to get out especially if you pushed them in really well, if you can't get them out just use a pair of long nozed pliers (be gentle) and rock them back and forth gently while pulling on them.

it annyos me how they go in easyly(sp?) but then take about half an hour to pull out, especially from my cd drive, its really fiddly around that part of my case. maybe if someone from a PSU manufacturing company reads this theyll redesign these things.

That is so true. That's the most difficult part of building a PC, realizing that you have to disconect those molex. Keep some bandaid near for the fingers.

If there is room, use some pliers to grab the molex connector and then work it back and forth until it pops out of the socket. Be sure you don't smack anything with the pliers when the molex pops out though.

hah, i found out a better way.. use my old bike gloves which fingers are padded so it don't hurt to grasp as hard as possible, and they won't slip because if sweat.. just a little wiggle and pop.. the reason it was so hard was because i pushed it in as far as possible
