I have just changed my PSU to a Thermaltake 480W butterfly PSU. It comes with a fan controller knobs on the front. One of the fans came with the PSU. I was wondering should I find another fan that could be controlled with the front knobs or just leave it.
After reading Tomshardware about fans controller, fan controller without any sort of monitoring software is dangerous. The controller, is only a controller, nothing more. So what should I do?

IT DEPENDS IF YOUR ARE NEW TO MODDING THAN LEAVE IT BUT IF YOU BEEN IN THE HOBBIE A WHILE THAN DO IT.
BUT IF YOUR SWITCH IS ON THE PSU THAN ONLY ADD A FAN TO THE PSU NOT THE CASE. |

how about just gettig a fan with the connections? isn't that better? Does Tt only make the fans that will fit in or is this connection a universal thing?

I'm using an Enermax UC-A8FATR4 fan controller and temp display for my oc'ing machine. Allows monitoring of 4 temps with probes and displays the associated fan speeds which are controlled by four different knobs (pots). The fans have to be a three wire design in order to display their rpm. I can control the 2 wire fans but can't 'see' the speeds.
