Looking for some general advise :)

im actually looking for your opinions im looking to make a decent rig with only $600 to spare (college will do that to ya!)
and i wanted to know how a radeon 9600 256mb v.card chalks up or if theres anything better i can get for around $100-$150?

What brand? Do you have a link? Its a good card as long as it is a good brand and has other things (256-bit for example).

i have heard that a 256Mb graphics card arnt as good as 128Mb so if you are planning to do some retro gaming and want to save some cash try going for a 128.
