Do You Have A Windowed Case?
To Window or not to Window…That is the question
Do you have a case worth bragging about? Does it have a window? How about a custom paint job? I'm curious to hear about it. |

Firstly, as Jagganath said, what is the attachment?
The system in my sig has this case: http://www.autdirect.co.uk/acatalog/info_1398.html Black Zorro case with a UV CC tube and 4 80mm LED fans The other half has a case very similar to this: http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=52091 And I'm working on a new one, starting a new thread soon for that. But as the question is "to window or not to window" IMO why not window as you've splashed cash on decent hardware so why not show it off

I've got two store bought cases that came with windows, and I've cut a window into my old piii pavilion.

Don't have one, don't want one.

Have one. Came with the case. Don't care one way or the other.

Got a plain old black case here, and I don't plan on getting a case with a window. I don't really care to look at the guts of my PC while it runs/sits there.
That said, I do enjoy looking at a case if the person has done a nice mod on it. With lights or a snazzy paint job, etc.. Last edited by bigandy; 06-18-2004 at 08:24 PM. |

i like having a window, but my LED fans are annoying. my next case will use UV fans and have a gentle glow instead of blinding blue light.

Window mod with a self-customized etching: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.p...threadid=84041 Added a switch on the front to turn the cold cathode on and off, as well as a switch to turn on and off sound activation, and a knob to control the sensitivity. No pics of those, though.
