Recovering data from Laptop HD
Hi guys, my laptop just died but I believe the hard drive is still intact. I need to recover some data from the laptop HD and I need to know what my options are. The HD was on FAT32 and it was the boot drive. Thanks for your help!

Several options are available. I'll skip those involving third party data recovery services.
Idea 1: Just pull the drive and put it into another computer. Most laptop HD's are just standard 2.5" drives. Idea 2: Do same as above but with a external USB (or Firewire) drive enclosure.
