I've seen some for £2 here in the UK, all the way up to £20 in retail shops.

Here - http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...rice&order=ASC
They are purple but at £2 it is cheap, the IMO nicer colours are more expensive, about £3. |

I get about $3.60 is £2, but I imagine that you would have to check the prices for the US.
Edit: I found these after a google, but they look expensive http://www.xoxide.com/coldcathodes.html but I do not know US prices. Last edited by WhatsThisBoxFor?; 06-21-2004 at 02:06 PM. |

You get what you pay for...cheap lights will come with cheap inverters, and well cheap lights. You want something where your not overpaying but your not buying the cheapset you can.
Ive had very bad luck with sunbeam, bulbs randomly dieing, falling apart at the sides...just very very bad luck Vantec makes one of the best lights i have seen, great quality and puts out good amount of light. Also as for kits, frozencpu.com makes great ones...bit pricey but worth it. |
