Interesting LGA-775 and PCI Express article

There is a interesting article over on Anandtech about the new socket and PCI Express that shows, as of now, no real speed increases. I think it is a little early to draw final conclusions and I'm sure they will get better over time but it was interesting.

along the same lines, anandtech has an article detailing the possibility that intel has locked overclocking on the new chipset. supposedly you can't do more than 10% on an intel board... stupid, cause overclocking was one of the draws for intel (at least, i thought so.) anyway, here's the link.

I think this is also gonna be a case like the 400Mhz FSB processors.. they're OK, but come alive at 533Mhz, and really shine at 800Mhz... once the DDR2 steps up a bit.. there should be some performance differences then.
