cd drives read all cd as an audio cd
I have a cd drive and a cdrw drive both of them have started reading all cd as an audio cd.
when i look in the device manager is say they are working properly. But the description of the drives are all jumbled up, it is the same way in the registry. I have tried reinstalling the drivers, removing them in the device manager but no luck. I need help PLEASE |

Replace your IDE ribbon cable to the drives. Verify they are jumpered correctly for the type of cable you are using.
