I have a new Maxtor 120G Hard Drive on my computer, and would like to put my WD 80G back in as secondary. The WD 80G has no OS on it..but a lot of other things I want.
My question is this...what will happen to the ''assigned'' drive letters? The Maxtor 120G is partitoned, and so is the WD 80G..and right now they have some of the same assigned Drive letters. Will the Drive letters automatically be reassigned, or is this going to cause problems for me? Thanks much.

I believe Windows will just assign a letter. When I put my old 6GB drive in my computer it was automatically labled as drive E.
