Athlon 64 mobile
If I wanted to overclock on a new build would it be smarter to go with the mobile version or the regular? I'm assuming it would be the mobile, just want to know what yall think.
Thanks |

the mobiles A64s are pretty good OCers, but many have trouble with them due to the fact that it doesnt have a heatspreader. without the heatspreader, it is much harder to have the surface of the HS rest on the CPU, most people have to modify the cooler to fit properly so they dont get a gap between the HS and CPU. it would be more feasible to go with a desktop unit this time around. the better OCers are the 3200+ clawhammer and the 3000+ newcastle.
