C Drive Icon Changed In My Computer...
Hi all...hope someone can help with this. A friend of mine is having problems with their C Drive Icon. When they go into My Computer...the Icon for the C Drive has changed from the regular Icon, and looks like a CD (similar to a Rom Drive). If they click on it, it will not open,and makes a noise sounding like it does when first booting up. Basically their computer seems to be doing ok.
The computer is a Compaq Presario 5000, running XP Home. They can only get to the C Drive contents by using Windows Explorer. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

I just found out that they are not using any Spyware programs..could that cause this problem? (I directed them to Ad-Aware and Spybot)
