camcorder question......

my buddy bought a camcorder off ebay and it didnt have the cd to download his recordings from the camera to his pc.....can he get software like pinnacle to do that.

also, the bone-head recorded his nieces 1st birthday with the nightshot on....is there a way to reverse that process......

needless to say, he wont be behind the camera for the next x-men movie.....lol

Your guess is as good as anyones. (you at least know the make & model number) The manual and or web site should have the answer to both.

You don't need certain software. Any video editing software with capture capability will work. Even Windows Movie maker would work although it's not the best. If it is a digital camcorder all he needs is a FireWire cable and port. If it is not digital he will need a capture card. Yes, he could use Pinnacle Studio 9 or any software he wants.
