Thumbs up I can't I read my slave drive?

in the attached picture, disk 1, 37GB is the slave drive. Before it became corrupted I was using it as my primary master drive. The top part of the picture seems to contradict the bottom part. The two parts that are listed as 31MB and 11.84GB for a total of 12.15GB are the two partitions on this hard drive. When I click on "my computer", the only drive that shows up is disk 0. It is labeled as the C. drive. Is there some way I can give this hard drive a label so that I can access the contents? I hope my explanation is clear enough for you.

i think the drive is corrupted, when this has happened to me i used 'Pc Inspector File Recovery' http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/UK/welcome.htm . it has an option to find lost drive letters or inaccesiable drives.

I would retrieve an data you want off the drive. Run the drive maker's diagnosic utilities. Do a "low level" format (zero fill) with their utility, then reformat using XP and NTFS. Then do a thorough, sector check scandisk (chkdsk).
