firmware info
i have 2 identical hdd, so i thought. i bought one from newegg and the other from bestbuy. the one from bestbuy has a firmware thats ALOT older than the one from newegg. i used speedfan and the hdd section said that its performance was about 75% and the one from newegg was 100%. will this drive not perform as well or is it just speedfan? does the firmware effect it that much? can i flash it like a bios?
