Scanner Problems and MGI PhotoSuite

I have a Memorex scanner and I use MGI PhotoSuite. I opened MGI and Internet Options came up. I restarted my computer and the same thing. I installed MGI again. It still came up with Internet Options. I tried to install it again, and checked uninstall, then re-installed. Without MGI, how do I scan?

You can install any TWAIN-compliant image program and scan into it. Irfanview is free, you can even scan into the built-in Windows Imaging program I believe. If it has "Acquire" in the file menu, you are good to go.

However, it sounds like you have some registry problems.

Before you give up on MGI, go into its program folder and find the main executable, and drag a shortcut out to the desktop for it.
