CPU and fan
Hello im thinking of buying this 2.4 ghz p4 cpu. It has no fan with it it says. So i need to buy a fan? Im stuck on what fan i need to buy. I have found one it says its for p4 cpus, socket 478. Which sounds right. The fan is called ARCTIC COOLING CPU FAN SUPER SILENT 4 PRO TC ( P4 ) Is that all i need for the CPU once i have a fan for it, and the cpu?

You will need thermal compound that is put on the die of the CPU before installing the HSU. The HSU may come the compound, if not buy a tube. And you only need a dab the size of a grain of rice. Then spread it over the die with piece of plastic.
